  A good place to camp for getting at the trails (hiking trails). For tents, it looks tough to find a flat spot. For rv's it's hit and miss for a level site. Like most California campgrounds, most sites are quite close to each other.
  
  A fair bit of vehicle traffic in the campground because 3 trail heads are at the end of the campground and each vehicle will pass by each camp site at least once (sometimes twice).
